What is World Central Kitchen?

World Central Kitchen is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. The organization was founded in 2010 by celebrity chef José Andrés. Through locally led approaches, WCK’s long-term programs advance human and environmental health, offer access to professional culinary training, create jobs, and improve food security for the people we serve. Yes, you will need to add a credit card to complete your donation. If you don’t already have a credit card linked to your PayByPhone account, you can add a new credit card by going to Settings -> Payment Options -> Add New Card, and fill out the required information.

The minimum donation amount is $1.00 USD. For everyone one minute “parked” at the #ParkItForward location number, one dollar will be donated to #ChefsForAmerica.

Yes you can! In order to donate, your Location Services must be set to the United States. To do so, open your PayByPhone app - go to Settings -> Account Settings -> Location Services -> unselect “Set automatically” and then choose “United States” as your preferred location. You will now be able to search the #ParkItForward location #19 to donate.

Can I still donate if I don't live in the US?

This is our unique way of #ParkingItForward! Our app’s sole purpose is to make our users day by providing a seamless parking experience, so we wanted to find a way to transform our service into a medium to give back to communities in need. Duration conversion: 1 minute = $1.00 USD
